Very simply question to answer. Just continue with what you are suppose to do. If you can conceive, then he is OK. The best and sure way is to have a doctor check on his sperm count,

Of course…. The prostate cancer may affect the transmission of sperm from the testes to the urethral meatus but the production of sperm itself won’t

Prostate cancer doesn’t usually affect fertility however, the treatment sometimes can. If it was just surgery, he should be okay. If you’re having trouble conceiving, make an appointment with a Urologist to get a work up for fertility. If he comes back normal, make an appointment for yourself to get checked out.
